About Eastham
The New York Times has called Eastham "Cape Cod’s Little Secret." Located on the outer Cape, between Wellfleet and Orleans, Eastham offers visitors a quieter and less crowded environment than some of the more well-known areas of the Cape. Eastham is also often called The Gateway to the National Seashore- which begins here in our town. The National Seashore has two Atlantic beaches in Eastham and several nature trails and bike paths. There are also over eight sandy bayside beaches just a short walk from our cottage for sunbathing, warm swimming at high tide, and sunsets over the water.
A short drive from our cottage you’ll find the Seashore Salt Pond Visitors Center, a base for walking, biking, fishing, canoe trips and Ranger activities. Or you may choose to visit Eastham's historic district, our historic 1680 windmill, the Nauset Lighthouse, or the thousand acre Audubon Sanctuary. This "quintessentially Cape Cod" area provides the perfect setting for your memorable beach vacation. Our cottage allows you to enjoy the serene location while offering the convenience of nearby towns, shopping, restaurants, galleries, summer band concerts, the Cape Cod National Seashore facilities and the best of Cape Cod. Eastham really is perfectly located- offering you easy, quick access to both ends of the Cape should you want to wander & explore.
